Does everyone know the following joke:
"I say, I say, I say. My wife's run away to the West Indies."
"Jamaica?"
"No, she went of her own accord"
The aim of the game is to provide an alternative opening line. Other players then have to discern the place name. The setter then gets to be smug with their punchline.
Examples:
"My wife's running away to that very cold state in Northwest America, although I can't remember what it's called."
"My wife's bra exploded in the home of the tubular bandage in Northwest England."
"I'm going on a club 18-30 holiday to the capital of Thailand."
Although I think the best one that came out of the house last night was:
"I'm making small deep fried snacks out of a comedic chat show host in a town in middle england."
EDIT: All four examples have now been solved. Please post your own. Go on. You know you want to.
