Work at mountview continues to pass too quickly. You think that in a ten hour day I'd find twenty minutes to apply for other jobs. I had also forgotten how exhausting it is to be in an office job. I come home at night and can't sleep because I haven't done anything physically tiring all day.

Came back to Coventry on Saturday to take my parents to the theatre for my mum's birthday. Forkbeard Fantasy's Fall of the House of Usherettes was corking, but it was a revival of something they did in 1995 for the centenary of cinema, and they've got a lot better since. Shooting Shakespeare at the Hackney Empire was dazzling.

Yesterday was spent being stressed for no good reason and sanding bits of wood. Then we went out for a chinese, and to cheer myself up I started talking about male corsetry with my mum. Didn't sleep at all last night.

My dad has just rocketed to favourite person in the whole wide world as he has offered to run me back tonight, which means I can rid myself of the crates of stuff that don't fit in my "new" room.
