Dinner with James on Friday was lovely. Went to his place in Elephant and Castle with Nina and met one of the parentals and an old friend from Wales.

For all who think that I looked like Jesus in a recent userpic (when I clearly look like Qui-Gon Jinn) I give you James:

Who not only looks a bit like a Jesus, but has been known to wonder about the Guilford countryside wearing white robes.

Dinner consisted of G&T, followed by curry with wine, followed by ice-cream and cookies with more wine, followed by listening to new and interesting music, followed by a whisky in the local. Then sudden Oh God When Do The Tubes Stop type rushing about, but all was well. I've volunteered to sit for James so I'm going to spend burns night at his place and then model for him the day after. He says it will just be drawings so he'll do a few and I can keep one. Which is all exciting and I'm feeling disproportionately smug. If anyone ever needs a model, I'm vain enough to love seeing what people make of me. Hell, I wouldn't be an actor if I wasn't vain.

Went back and spent the night with Nina at her place. Woke up Early in the morning and joined her on the trip to town. Coffee and cake waiting for the RA to open. A fairly brief but wonderful walk around the William Nicholson exhibition. Huge queue for the Turks, so I skipped that and headed home. Fell asleep. Woke up much much later, full of cold and late for a party. Bugger. Much lemsipness, some online shopping and back to bed.

I dreamt that my cashcard fell apart in my hands. Woke with a headache. Threw on some clothes and headed out to get groceries and more lemsips. When I got to the checkout, realised I had left my cashcard on my desk from the online shopping. Attempted to run home, and realised why they tell you not to run when you've got flu. Sorted the shopping, eventually and with much embarrassment. Cooked for housemate. Have been doing things all afternoon, albeit low impact things, but I can't see what damage I've done. I've been noble and waited to see if choir was on tonight. And it obviously isn't now.

Mental plans for a dinner party and a photo shoot of a previously mentioned pun have been growing in complexity.

I hope you feel better soon. <3 Doing a photo shoot for a pun sounds very cool.

So good you started again to write on this blog!
Flu won't kill you I hope, but whenever you need to relax and recover, always remember that I live near hot waters and that Italy is just a 1h30' travel by plane...They really can bring you back to life...
