If I hear another student complaining about their casting I shall scream. They never complain because the role is not challenging or interesting, they complain because they are paying to be here and want more time on stage. Basically, they want more time than everyone else who is paying the same.

Besides, drama school is about learning, and one of the biggest lessons you should learn is how to play whatever you have to and how to work with whoever you have to. I've seen shows stolen by spear carriers and not in a bad way.

Book of Thespis
Chapter 82

7And lo, the director did cast. 8And the Cast did object. And a queue did form to see Him. And the queue was long but no man nor woman would step aside for his sibling.

9He appeared to them in a vision of Gold and Leather. And with one glance at his mighty eye they saw the truth. He had given them a choice.

10Repent and be glad for your place in this world of beauty and light. 11Or be struck down by the sword of nine blades and then drowned slowly in lemon juice.

12And the Cast did gumble.
