I did watch the Superbowl last night. And faxed Emily my match report at the Radisson Edwardian. New England Patriots 32 Carolina Panthers 29, which is the way she wanted it.

Last night I dreamt I was in a cinema. I'm not sure it was English, but I'm not sure it was modern. I was introduced to the projectionist, an Oxford man. We ran through the narrow corridors and the cavernous auditorium, sometimes full, sometimes empty. It was like he had a grand plan and I was just along for the ride. Then he turned to me and said "Are you ready?" and I nodded and as I turned to the door I saw that the audience entering were dressed in the Edwardian style. The cinema was crumbling and I knew it always had been. When I looked around, he had gone but she was there. She looked at me, eyes so pure yet neutral, giving nothing away. "I love you" I said softly. She smiled, as if that was all she had expected and then I opened my eyes. I was alone.

When I fell asleep again, I wasn't myself. I was 7'6" and enormously strong. When she opened her door to me I held her close and kissed her roughly. I pushed her back against the wall. I was forceful, but she was loving it. Then before the dream could get raunchy, I realised this wasn't me. I was watching helpless as the third person. I was nothing. I woke with a start.

I've been having very odd dreams recently too. I fondly remember the lesbian-kronenburg-porn one, but the rest have been all about flying and collecting easter eggs and sneaking round infinitely large industrial comlexes looking for Important Items and hiding from Bad People With Guns. Which is fairly standard.

There was a good one where my old school was underwater and I was sewimming around with a scuba mask on and i found a dead clown floating in the geography room, though.
