There was so much I wanted to write. About the job application. About going to the cinema on my own. About the party. About the fact that whenever I'm a survivor the night fizzles out. But I did this instead:

1. Who did you last get angry with?

2. What is your weapon of choice?
Knife. A stiletto.

3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?
I wouldn't, but I have.

4. How about of the same sex?
I wouldn't, but I have.

5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you?
My dad, I think.

6. What is your pet peeve?
Having to explain myself.

7. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily?
I think I can let them go. But nobody's pissed me off that badly for a while.

1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a long time?
Exercise. I've never exercised enough, although I do walk everywhere.

2. What is the latest you've ever woken up?
I once spent a week in bed where I woke up every evening at about 6, made dinner, and went back to bed again.

3. Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't:
Lily. Jessica. Rachele. Lastra. Kirsty. Kirsty. Stella. Shall I go on? I'm lousy at keeping in touch with people. Sorry.

4. What is the last lame excuse you made?
I don't have my cheque book with me.

5. Have you ever watched an Public Service announcment all the way through (one of the long ones...)?

6. When was the last time you got a good workout in?
Last time I went dancing. About a month ago, I think.

7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today?
6. Although I didn't have to get up at all.

I've taken a real shine to Cuba Libres.

A bottle of Smirnoff Black. Neat.

No. My figure? Yes.

Now I feel hungry..... I like them all. Sweet best probably.

And said it occasionally. Pigeon pie. Roast squirrel.

I have no idea.

2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)?
I have no idea, although I'm sure there are photos...

3. Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a member of your gender of choice during a normal conversation?
Occasionally. Normally it's a friend and I'll tell her. "I know my eyes keep drifting but that is a fantastic top..."

It wasn't me officer. Honest guv.

Stand topless in front of a mirror with your right arm raised. Now trace your left hand down the front edge of the right arm, around the armpit, down the ribs and under the breast. That curve. And don't ask me why. I don't know.

Pay off my parents mortgage. Buy myself a place. I don't know really.

Getting in to Oxford.

I want to make people happy.

Everything I wanted? Impossible.

Very rarely.

Those above.

I'd consider it.

Yes. I'll do anything I can for my friends.

7. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need?
It will sound silly, but I once slept a night against a friends door so that she couldn't get out without waking me because she had threatened to commit suicide.

A senseless death.

2. What did you do today that was really brave?
I went to a party. I wanted to just go home.

3. Who is your favorite superhero, and why?
Superman. Classic and as near to perfect as they come.

4. Would you put your life in danger to rescue someone?
Of course.

More brains.

I would try to find a way out, but I would go if I had to.

I don't think so.

4. What should be legalized?
It doesn't matter. Most laws are there so they can prosecute, rather than they will prosecute. We are all guilty of something by now. See Joe's Garage.

5. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA?
No. Anyone able to gain power is almost certainly the worng person to weild it.

6. What was your favorite media circus trial?
I thought the millionaire trial was funny.

Kind of. I'll pay by cheque assuming I'll have the money in my account by the time it clears.

Fluttered eyelashes.

Told her I loved her.

1. Who is the wisest person you know?
Trite but true, my mum.

Yes. Of sorts.

3. Do you take advice when it's given?
Depends on the advice. I will always listen before I ignore, anyway.

4. What area are you wisest in?
Troubleshooting. I'm good at fixing problems.

5. Do you drive defensively?
I don't drive. How defensive is that

6. Have you ever had unprotected sex outside of marriage?

7. What did you learn in the last past week?
That Blind Chance is a truly confusing film even second time around.

Finally, what is your favorite deadly sin?
Lust. Obviously.

And so I feel less ranty. Still, one quote and one question. maniA said that MV had said how good-looking I was and why was I single and they had replied we don't know. So I ask:

Why am I single?

I was going to say "just some interest would be nice" but I realised that isn't quite right. Just some interest that isn't taken, or doesn't disappear to France, or some other excuse.

Maybe it's just the lack of sex talking....

Subject: Why?
Because artists (particularly actors and musicians) are the worst kind of partners (but maybe the best lovers) you can bump into in the whole masculine universe. And there is another reason but I can't tell you here.

Anyway, maybe I will be single in a month or less. Does it make some difference?
