Lent already. I've not been blogging much this year, so mostly I'll actually be writing here through lent. God knows I'm busy enough. I really ought to have something worth writing about.

Also, I'll be listening to a new album and reading a play on each day I have a commute. Normally this is a response to having got sick of my christmas mixtape by now, but this year I haven't finished making it, so every day I'll write the sleeve notes for a song that might be on it.

I've come to the realisation that the probability of me seeing something is inversely proportional to the number of performances it has. So this lent I'm going to see one long running thing each week.

I'm going to cycle more. I'm going to see my friends more. I'm going to trumpet my achievements.

No puzzle, but if anyone is disappointed by this let me know.

Anything else I should do? Not do? Any album recommendations? Any play recommendations?

Can't remember if I've done the "list to Pete Atkin!" thing to youy. If not, then do, for the lyrics if nothing else.. Unfortunately, ost of the physical stock went up in flames last August. I love all the albums - if I had to pick one, get Midnight Voices, because it has the best overall collection. Of the original albums, Beware of the Beautiful Stranger or Driving Through Mythical America are probably good places to start.
