I'm considering writing a song a day through lent this year. It's a silly idea. That's why I'm doing it. Given that some of you know a lot more about music than me, could you suggest some techniques for me to use? Or some arbitrary restrictions to stick to? I'm a bit worried that I'll end up writing the same four songs again and again. All help gratefully appreciated and alcoholically repaid.
