Last night of Drowsy Chaperone on Saturday was beautiful and heartbreaking. I cried at the power cut, having seen it before. Steve Pemberton did well, although I preferred the original Man in the Chair. Anyone who saw Drowsy knows what I'd say. Anyone who didn't isn't going to now, so there's no point me saying anything else.

The rest of the night was frustration and fatigue and alcohol. Sorry to anyone I offended.

Woke late on Sunday. Caught the end of an exciting GP before heading off to the circus. nofitstate circus at the Roundhouse in Camden. It sucked ass. What's even more infuriating is that this morning I briefly talked about it to Dr Ian, who had seen the same show in a former incarnation, and everything that the show was missing, everything thing I had hated about it, was new in this tour. He precisely described exactly the piece I wanted to see. Ah well. Secret of comedy and all that bollocks.

Back to work again this morning. 3rd year MTs are back already for their music video projects, but I probably won't be around long enough to be in any of them.

I'm off next week to work on Yoga Bitch at Theatre 503 at the Latchmere. Also that week I see the Saturday matinee of LOTR as it is the week Andre Jarvis is playing Gandalf. Then on the Sunday night I take the Caledonian Sleeper to Edinburgh, pick up my kilt, see NIN support the Foo Fighters, watch Stardust and Something Else and then fly to Bristol, and from there to a wedding in Bath. That takes me up to September, I think.

What a wonderful show that was. C and I only managed to get round to seeing it a week and a half before it closed, but made sure we saw it again a week later so distraught were we at the short run.

If you ever happen to have an after-work or other hour or so free, do give me a ring, as it would be charming to see you.
