Life is busy, this is good.

Last week I had two extended lunch breaks where on Wednesday I saw the Third Year Actors Showcase at the Criterion (which was quite impressive, possibly more singing than was warranted by the quality of the vocalists, but some great pieces well done, and even a couple I hadn't seen before) and on Thursday a reading of a play inspired by the Deepcut Barracks story at the Tristram Bates (which was well done, well written, well presented, but didn't really go anywhere for me).

On Saturday night there was some partying. I was very tired and should have been home a lot earlier, but I had a lovely evening. There was a constant whirl of drunk people around me. I even played an abortive game of chess.

Sunday was to Oxford to see Daniel Kitson's C90, which is the finest piece of new writing I've seen in years. You want to see this. I'm looking forward immensely to seeing it in Brighton, even if I end up going by myself. Lovely company in Oxford. Returned to London happy if somewhat broken.

Monday night was the last ever Apathists. I shall miss it more than I like to admit. My big regret is never appearing in anything for them. I would have loved to play with those guys. Chatted a lot to the lovely VK, whose birthday it was. Smiled alot at my initialsake, introducing myself about three seconds before I left. Put KAL on her bus and home to bed a long time overdue.

This week has been hot and slow and, to be perfectly frank, full of the horniness of spring.

*Horniness of Spring*

Oh dear, for me this kicked in last Thursday, I walked out of work and suddenly felt the need to procreate! Thankfully I found a willing participant :S

There was chess? I remember you coming in, then it's all very blurry. I'm sure I only had three beers :S
