Lots has happened since last I posted.

I have dissected the old Doc Marten's and made an important discovery. The yellow lacing is not fake. It holds the boots together as it goes through all the layers of the boots. Photos to follow.

There has been snow. I made things in the snow. It was fun. I had many breaks from work that day.

There has been an opera. La Boheme to be precise. It's been corking. There are many tales I could tell, and maybe I will at some point. However, all I shall recount for now is how much I have drunk these past few days. Friday night was our first performance, with champagne after the show and then a two course meal with several bottles of wine, followed by wine and more wine. Then, still drunk from the night before, on Saturday I went into London, had a couple of pints with Al who is back from Canada briefly, then home to a hip hop party in honour of Matt's birthday, where I drank quite copiously. Then Sunday was back to the barn in Bentley for the last performance of Boheme, followed by more wine and champagne and wine and wine, until 6 am ish. Then A whole 3 hours sleep, the get out, and on a train in time to do the afternoon shift at Mountview. Bring, as they say, it on.

It's probably good that lent starts on Wednseday.

I live in Herne Hill, on the sedate south side of Brockwell Park. I'm definitely an actor by trade, but the thing that currently pays my bills is being a librarian at my old drama school (Mountview in Wood Green), affectionately referred to by my housemate as the Library of Cockwank, and officially called the Peter Coxhead Memorial Library.

"Hello. Library of Cockwank. How can I help? No sir, you want Shite. Down the hall, first on the left."
