Home. Got in last night at 10.30ish, slept like a baby.
Mum woke me at nine with tea. Got up feeling shockingly awake for that ungodly hour. Made my grandparents a wedding anniversary card (59 years...) out of wood and ribbon. Went to the dentists.
My dentist has a baby blue porsche in his drive and a bugs bunny cel on his wall. "Any problems?" "A bit of an ache occaisionally." "About here?" "Yep" "right it'll have to come out. Local anasthetic. Tomorrow at 2.55. We take American Express, Visa, Cash or cheque..."
I'm disproportionately nervous about having a wisdom tooth out. Everyone says 'don't listen to the horror stories' which just makes you wonder what the horror stories were. I know it will be fine and it will stop the pain. But still. Eeeeeek.
Looked at MD players on the way home. New shiny sony things plug into USB and download music from computer to MD. Stupid buggers still don't send it back the other way though. Is that too much to ask? I hate the way MD is the assumed endpoint rather than merely a storage device.
Home. Made a frame for my Christopher Wool copy. 10 for dinner. Did you know that the Native American word for Rain is Kyeu and Ceremony is Baa so a rain dance (ceremony of rain) is Baa Be Kyeu. 10 of us under the veranda. Cosy.
Then a bit of copying stuff for mum, good to be useful.
I love having R&R.
Wish me luck....
