Greetings to all new faces from the legendary Weekend. More to you later.

Backdated entries now up for the period 27/12/04 - 06/01/05 AKA "What I did on my holiday"

Got an awful night's sleep last night. despite being sober as can be, I fell asleep for a couple of hours and then jerked up, unable to get back off. I dreamt that romauld had nailed me, blindfold and chained, in a large wooden box, possibly with someone else. He said it was a variation on the hidden devil puzzle. Then he started laughing maniacally and twizzling his moustache and I was completely paralysed and then when I managed to get my arms to move I woke up. Sat in the front and watched Star Trek and Batman, then tried again, only to be woken by a robot, in attempting to work out what I wanted to drink, puncturing the skin of my left index finger and injecting me with poison. I'm sure it's related to my lack of appetite, I just wish I knew what it was.

Went to boots to develop some 5 films today. Disappointing pictures of New York. Disappointing pictures of Derbyshire. And they declined my card. And on the way home I was punched in the ear, quite deliberately, by a 17 year old as he and his three cronies ran for the bus.

Generally not a good day, but getting better. Yay lovely new friends and John Pizzarelli.

I fear you and all your works, though I also feel somewhat complimented that my long-overdue Supervillain credentials are finally seeing the recognition they deserve...

I thought that's why you were developing the moustache. Just point the beard and wear a top hat and cane and you're there.

I've tried pointing the beard, but it didn't work very well. I do have a very nice silvertop cane, but do not, as yet, have a very nice top hat. I have a not-very-nice top hat, instead.

I have only a morning topper. I need to find even a not-very-nice evening topper. It just feels odd walking into a shop and asking for one.

They mentioned this last time I saw them live. Anywhere near us? (either of us?)
