It's been a week since I last posted?

We've now got a landline, which means I'm almost back to normal. Soon we'll have broadband and all will be well again.

Went to Mike's new place on Friday and played the new Mario Kart game. It is far too addictive. Remembered only too late that I had meant to see Susannah that night. Foolish boy. Saturday I signed over my keys to the landlord (who turned up half an hour early, not to pick up the keys, but to show somebody else the flat). He's given me practically my whole deposit back, which is great as I now need to buy a new PSU for Barbarella, my PC. Any idea who does a quiet >350W PSU?

Lazy weekend spent falling asleep to BBC Radio and getting nothing done. It was lovely.

Monday and Tuesday the shit hit the fan with this Old Vic scratch performance I was SMing. The vid projection failed to appear Monday night, or Tuesday until 40 minutes before the performance. The radio mikes were over kill. I ended up being the sensible one doing everything. God I earned my money. I can see that MT and IF know their stuff, but they aren't used to the world of low budget readings and fringe scratch performances. The show itself was great save the lack of an audience. And the comical routes around the building we had to take to avoid the security surrounding the American ambassador.

Got sloshed in the pit bar before the get out and then took Gareth to Ed's where we ate too much. Collapsed into bed and ended up watching right through to the end of Lawnmower Man 2, but was too tired to move so slept dressed.

My good deed of the day yesterday was to sort out the phone connections so that as many points as possible work. My good deed today was to tidy up everywhere but my own room. I've got into the waking for dinner routine and tomorrow's early start before work at the library will put a stop to that. Wonder how long I've got left there.

Still haven't replied to Lucy.

Meme purloined from Jessica

First real kiss: Girl called Roxanne, on holiday on a cruise ship.
First job: Jobbing builder if that counts or ASM on 666 at Edinburgh if it doesn't.
First screen name: Rhett Morgan. Don't ask why.
First self-purchased album: Automatic For The People by REM, and I'm not ashamed of that one bit. First music that I didn't get in to via my brother. Bought on a skiing holiday to Scotland without my parents with the left over holiday money.
First pets: A rabbit called Peter Blue-eyes.
First piercing: I have no piercings. I am a girly wuss.
First true love: Would probably be my unrequited love for Jacqui.
First big trip: To see REM when I was 14 at Milton Keynes, followed a month later by Metallica at Donnington.
Last big car ride: Coventry to London to finish my move to the new house. Bigger than that would probably be Italy two years ago with Dave.
Last kiss: Goodbye to Fran on Tuesday.
Last good cry: Last tear shed would be 16 Years Of Alcohol on November the 7th. Last good cry was probably 28th September
Last movie seen: Bronx Tale last night which I had seen before but still think is pretty sweet.
Last beverage drank: Tea. Made by Terry and delivered while on the phone.
Last food consumed: Pancakes with lemon and sugar, banana and nutella and then sugar and lemon.
Last phone call: Faye. Yay!
Last shoes worn: Paul Smith slip ons.
Last CD played: Robbie Williams - Swing When You're Winning.
Last item bought: Eggs, milk, flour, lemons, bananas.
Last soda drank: Coke in the form of a Cuba libre. I'm out of rum now.
Last ice cream eaten: Vanilla on top of waffles in Ed's on Tuesday night.
Last shirt worn: Black furry thing which I wore as dress blacks for Tuesday night.

Maybe I'll write even more tomorrow. Maybe I'll do something useful instead.

Heh, good to know you're alive. And even better to know that soon you'll be back in the world of IM. I seem to have developed an aversion to phones. So catch you soon. *smooch*

And I've still got your birthday present. And it still isn't wrapped.

Miss you.
